Why is there an extra Chamber fee at renewal?
The situation
Qatar Chamber membership fees are charged separately and depend on capital.
The law
- Commercial Registry Law (renewal and changes): Renew within 30 days before expiry; notify changes within 30 days; entry can be deleted 90 days after notice if not renewed
What it means for you
Chamber membership is charged on top of MOCI fees and depends on capital. Qatar Living reports it starts at QAR 500 for capital under QAR 500,000 and is fixed for some forms, such as QAR 10,000 for holding companies. Check your band before renewal so the total is not a surprise.
