Fees for extra activities and branches

We have three activities and one branch. What will the renewal cost?

The situation

CR fee is QAR 500 for the main activity, QAR 300 per extra activity and QAR 100 per branch CR each year.

The law

  • Ministerial Decision No. 60 of 2024 (MOCI fees): CR and commercial licence fees cut to QAR 500 a year each; home business licence QAR 300
  • Commercial Registry Law (renewal and changes): Renew within 30 days before expiry; notify changes within 30 days; entry can be deleted 90 days after notice if not renewed

What it means for you

Three activities cost QAR 500 for the main one plus 2 x QAR 300, so QAR 1,100. A branch CR adds QAR 100 and the licence QAR 500, giving about QAR 1,700 a year before Chamber fees. Removing activities you no longer use cuts the yearly cost.
