Joiners and leavers in BPJS

The situation
Add joiners and remove leavers in the BPJS accounts each month, so contributions and coverage are correct.
The law
- Art 14 and 15, Law 24/2011 on BPJS: Every person, including a foreigner working at least 6 months in Indonesia, must join; employers must register their workers and pay contributions
What it means for you
Leavers still listed means paying for them; joiners not added means no coverage. Do it before the monthly billing. Example: a worker leaving on 20 March should be removed before the April billing, or you pay one more month for them.
What to do
- Get HR changes for the month.
- Update both BPJS accounts.
- Check billing.
- Pay.
Workers can lose coverage if not added on time.
