  • Cabinet Resolution No. 27 of 2016 as amended by Resolution No. 2 of 2019 (Parallel Bahrainisation): Employers below their Bahrainisation target can still get permits by paying BHD 500 (two years) or BHD 250 (one year) extra per permit Source
  • LMRA work permit fee schedule: Work permit BHD 200 for two years or BHD 100 for one year, plus monthly fees Source
  • Social Insurance Law, Decree-Law No. 24 of 1976 as amended by Law No. 14 of 2022: Employers register staff with the SIO and pay monthly contributions; the employer share for Bahrainis rises by one point a year Source
