Our manager left. How do we change the signatory on the Establishment ID?

The situation

The Establishment ID records the company's authorised signatories.

The law

  • Ministry of Interior Establishment ID service: Company immigration record needed before visas and residence permits; needs a valid CR and licence
  • Commercial Registry Law (renewal and changes): Renew within 30 days before expiry; notify changes within 30 days; entry can be deleted 90 days after notice if not renewed

What it means for you

Update the CR first, since CR changes must be notified within 30 days, then update the Establishment ID. Until then, the old signatory may still appear on immigration records.

What to do

  1. Amend the CR.
  2. Update the Establishment ID.
  3. Update bank mandates.
  4. Remove old signatory access.
