How do we stop staff QIDs expiring without notice?

The situation

Permits must be kept valid; renewals run through MOI services.

The law

  • Law No. 21 of 2015 on entry, exit and residence of expatriates: Residence permits are tied to a recruiter or employer and handled by the Ministry of Interior

What it means for you

Keep a register with QID expiry dates and set reminders 45 and 30 days ahead. Check the company's own CR and Establishment ID are valid before renewing staff permits, since an expired company record blocks renewals.
