Expired CR blocking immigration services

Our visa request was rejected because the CR expired. What should we do?

The situation

Immigration services need a valid CR and commercial licence linked to the Establishment ID.

The law

  • Ministry of Interior Establishment ID service: Company immigration record needed before visas and residence permits; needs a valid CR and licence
  • Commercial Registry Law (renewal and changes): Renew within 30 days before expiry; notify changes within 30 days; entry can be deleted 90 days after notice if not renewed

What it means for you

Renew the CR and licence on Single Window first, then update the Establishment ID if needed and reapply. Align the CR, licence and Establishment ID expiries to avoid repeat blocks.
