Changing company data after the NIB
We changed our directors. Do we update OSS?
The situation
OSS pulls company data from the Ministry of Law. After a deed change, check OSS reflects it and update your NIB data if needed.
The law
- PP 28/2025 on risk-based business licensing: Replaces PP 5/2021; licences through OSS by risk level, with service level deadlines and automatic approval when an agency does not act in time
- Art 7, Law 40/2007 on Limited Liability Companies (UUPT), as amended by Law 6/2023: A PT is founded by 2 or more persons by notarial deed in Indonesian and becomes a legal entity on registration with the Minister of Law
What it means for you
OSS syncs with AHU, but sometimes the update must be triggered in OSS. Banks and agencies rely on NIB data, so mismatches cause delays. Also update the DJP officer data so the new director can act in Coretax.
What to do
- Get the Ministry of Law receipt.
- Log in to OSS and update company data.
- Download the updated NIB.
- Update DJP officer data.
Old directors left in OSS may still receive notices.
