Adding a new activity to an existing NIB
We want to add consulting services to our trading company. How?
The situation
New activities are added as new KBLI codes in OSS. If the codes are not in your articles of association, the deed must be amended first.
The law
- PP 28/2025 on risk-based business licensing: Replaces PP 5/2021; licences through OSS by risk level, with service level deadlines and automatic approval when an agency does not act in time
- Art 7, Law 40/2007 on Limited Liability Companies (UUPT), as amended by Law 6/2023: A PT is founded by 2 or more persons by notarial deed in Indonesian and becomes a legal entity on registration with the Minister of Law
What it means for you
OSS checks KBLI codes against the company's purpose in the deed held by the Ministry of Law. Amend the deed with a notary to add the purpose, then add the code in OSS and complete any risk items. For a PT PMA, each new code also adds the investment plan test of above IDR 10 billion per code per location.
What to do
- Check if the purpose is in your deed.
- Amend the deed if needed.
- Add the KBLI in OSS.
- For PMA, update the investment plan.
Invoicing for an activity not in your NIB can trigger questions from buyers and the DJP.
We can do this for youBusiness licence (NIB) through OSS RBA: choosing KBLI codes and meeting the risk level: IDR 2.500.000
