Large business and the ASP deadline

Our revenue is above AED 50 million. When did we need to appoint our ASP?

The situation

For AED 50 million and above, the ASP deadline was moved from 31 July 2026 to 30 October 2026, and go-live stays at 1 January 2027.

The law

  • Ministerial Decision 244 of 2025 as amended by Ministerial Decision 66 of 2026: Phased timeline: AED 50 million and above live 1 January 2027; others 1 July 2027; government 1 October 2027
  • Cabinet Decision 106 of 2025 on e-invoicing penalties: Penalties for late adoption, late e-invoices and failures to notify

What it means for you

If you have not signed with an ASP yet, you are already late. The reported penalty for failing to appoint or implement on time is AED 5,000 per month or part of a month. Example: signing on 20 November 2026 could mean one month of penalty. Sign now and focus on being ready by 1 January 2027.

What to do

  1. Sign with an accredited ASP immediately.
  2. Onboard through EmaraTax.
  3. Run tests in November and December.
  4. Go live on 1 January 2027.

We can do this for youE-invoicing readiness: phase check, Accredited Service Provider appointment, PINT AE data and go-live: AED 5,000
