Can my accountant file ECI?

The situation

ECI is filed on myTax Portal by the company or an authorised tax agent through Corppass.

The law

  • Income Tax Act 1947: Estimated Chargeable Income: ECI filed within 3 months after financial year end; waiver if revenue up to S$5 million and ECI nil

What it means for you

Give your agent Corppass authorisation. Review before filing. Corppass lets you grant a tax agent access to corporate tax e-services without sharing passwords. Remove access when the engagement ends.
