POS vendor not ready before deadline
Our POS vendor says the Phase 2 update comes after our deadline. What can we do?
The situation
Taxpayers in a wave must have compliant, integrated solutions by their date; vendor delays do not move your deadline.
The law
- ZATCA Decision 1448-99-238 (wave 25): Taxpayers with VAT-able turnover above SAR 187,500 in 2022, 2023, 2024 or 2025 must integrate by 1 February 2027
What it means for you
Ask the vendor for a written date. If it is after your deadline, move to a compliant solution or use an interim compliant app for invoicing. Plan data migration early.
