The situation
Each e-invoicing solution unit, such as a POS device or branch system, is onboarded on Fatoora with its own onboarding code.
The law
- ZATCA E-Invoicing Regulations (issued 4 December 2020): Phase 1 generation from 4 December 2021; Phase 2 integration from 1 January 2023 in waves
What it means for you
List every invoicing point, including branch POS terminals, mobile apps and the head office ERP, then generate an onboarding code for each on Fatoora and enter it in that unit. One forgotten device means its invoices are not compliant. New branches opened later need onboarding before they start billing.
