Do we need to post vacancies online?
The situation
Vacancies must be posted online within 30 days, with the gross wage and start date.
The law
- Art. 19, 22 and 25, Labour Law RD 53/2023: Register of Omani staff updated each January with an Omanisation plan; vacancies posted within 30 days; extra duties at 25 or more workers
What it means for you
Post each vacancy online within 30 days, with the gross wage and start date. Posting shows that Omanis had a chance to apply before you seek an expatriate licence. Record who applied and why they were or were not hired.
