Moving from company visa to golden visa
If I switch from my company's investor visa to a golden visa, what happens to my company?
The situation
Your company continues as before. The visa simply stops using the company's sponsorship quota, and you hold residence on your own route.

What it means for you
The establishment card frees up a visa slot. You can still be the manager and signatory. Update the bank and licence records with the new Emirates ID. Example: a founder with a two-visa package switches to a golden visa and uses the freed slot for a new hire.
What to do
- Get the golden visa approved.
- Cancel or transfer the company visa as advised.
- Update bank, licence and EmaraTax contact details.
- Use the freed quota if needed.
