If I close my UAE company, will I lose my golden visa?
The situation
It depends on the route. A visa granted on the company route relies on that business; a property or talent route does not.

What it means for you
If your golden visa came through company ownership, closing the company may weaken renewal. If it came through property, keep the property. Example: a founder closing a loss-making LLC who also owns a AED 2.3 million flat can renew on the property route. Before closing, deregister from VAT and Corporate Tax properly so the tax file is clean.

- If business route, plan an alternative route before closing.
