Fake Emiratisation
Someone offered to register Emiratis on our payroll without real jobs. Is that allowed?
The situation
No. Registering nationals on paper only is fake Emiratisation and a serious labour violation. MOHRE says it detects these schemes and takes legal action.

What it means for you
Penalties can include fines per case, recovery of Nafis support and prosecution. Example: a company paying for names on WPS with no real work risks far more than the AED 120,000 a year contribution it hoped to avoid. Use real roles.

- Decline any paper-only scheme.
- Create real roles with duties.
- Recruit through Nafis.
- Keep evidence of actual work.
