IR8A deadline

When must we submit IR8A?

The situation

Employers submit employment income by 1 March each year.

The law

  • Income Tax Act 1947: employer returns (IR8A, AIS): Employers report employees' income to IRAS by 1 March each year

What it means for you

Through AIS, data goes straight to IRAS and staff do not need paper forms. Late submission can lead to penalties. If your employer is in AIS, staff do not need to enter employment income themselves. Late submission affects staff returns.

What to do

  1. Close payroll.
  2. Prepare IR8A.
  3. Submit via AIS.
  4. Give staff copies if not in AIS.

We can do this for youEmployer year-end reporting: IR8A and AIS: SGD 300
