Which BizFinx version should we use?

The situation

ACRA updates the BizFinx tool and taxonomy from time to time. Use the current version.

The law

  • Companies Act 1967 and ACRA XBRL filing requirements: Companies filing financial statements file them in XBRL format (full or simplified) unless exempt

What it means for you

Old versions may be rejected. Download the latest from ACRA before you start. Taxonomy updates change tag names and required elements. Using the right version avoids rejection at upload.

What to do

  1. Check ACRA for the current version.
  2. Install it.
  3. Prepare XBRL.
  4. Validate.
