Do domestic workers come under WPS?
The situation
Employers with domestic workers pay them through the Musaned platform from 1 January 2026, per public guides.
The law
- MHRSD Wage Protection System through Mudad: All private employers pay wages through WPS; salaries must match Qiwa contracts
What it means for you
This is separate from the company WPS. Household employers should set up digital salary payments on Musaned and keep records. Company staff stay under Mudad.
