Company NPWP not showing after NIB

We got our NIB in OSS but cannot find our company NPWP. Is it automatic?

The situation

For new entities, OSS registration links to the DJP and usually issues the NPWP with the NIB. Delays happen when data does not match.

The law

  • Art 2, Law 6/1983 on General Provisions and Tax Procedures (KUP Law), as last amended by Law 6/2023: Every taxpayer must register for an NPWP; for resident individuals the NIK serves as the NPWP (Art 2(1a))
  • PP 28/2025 on risk-based business licensing: Replaces PP 5/2021; licences through OSS by risk level, with service level deadlines and automatic approval when an agency does not act in time

What it means for you

Check the NIB page in OSS for the NPWP field and search the company in Coretax. If none was issued, register the company directly in Coretax with the deed, SK and NIB. Banks and customers will ask for the NPWP, so fix this before trading.

What to do

  1. Check the NIB document for an NPWP.
  2. Search the company in Coretax with the director's account.
  3. If absent, register the company in Coretax.
  4. Update OSS if the NPWP was issued separately.
