The situation
Late monthly fees attract BHD 5 per unpaid month, up to BHD 15.
The law
- LMRA Labour Registration Programme (successor to the Flexi Permit): Eligible workers register through approved Labour Registration Centres for a six month, one year or two year registered worker permit
What it means for you
Two missed months add BHD 10 under the LMRA table; the cap is BHD 15. Small sums, but unpaid fees can block renewal or other services. Pay through any approved channel and set a monthly reminder.
