Can I still get a flexi permit in Bahrain?
The situation
The Flexi Permit was replaced by the Labour Registration Programme through approved Labour Registration Centres.
The law
- LMRA Labour Registration Programme (successor to the Flexi Permit): Eligible workers register through approved Labour Registration Centres for a six month, one year or two year registered worker permit
What it means for you
Eligible workers now register through centres for six month, one year or two year permits. Workers with criminal offences or visit visas cannot register.
What to do
- Check eligibility online or by SMS.
- Visit an approved centre.
- Submit documents.
- Pay when notified.
