Form C-S or Form C

Which tax form should my company use?

The situation

Form C-S is for qualifying companies with revenue of S$5 million or less; C-S Lite for S$200,000 or less; others use Form C.

The law

  • Sec 62, Income Tax Act 1947: Every company and individual files an income tax return when required by IRAS

What it means for you

C-S also needs income taxable at 17% only and no claims for certain items. Check IRAS eligibility before choosing. Choosing the wrong form can lead to IRAS asking you to refile. Form C needs full financial statements and tax computations submitted.

  1. Check revenue.
  2. Check other conditions.
