  • Claims fail because Aadhaar, PAN or bank are not verified and approved by the employer

Complete KYC and get employer approval before filing any claimSource

  • Name or date of birth on EPFO does not match Aadhaar

Correct the record before KYC; mismatched names are a main cause of rejectionSource

  • Multiple UANs from old jobs

Merge old member IDs into one UAN before transferSource

  • Employer deposited PF before a UAN was allotted, so money is unallocated

Ask HR to generate or link the UAN and re-map the contributionsSource

  • Old nomination becomes void under the new family definitions

File a fresh e-nomination through the Aadhaar-linked UANSource
