What trips people up

  • Contribution in Form 8 does not match Form 11

  • Form accepted with wrong figures

V3 is straight-through; fix every figure before submission because it cannot be revised laterSource

  • Session timeout loses data

    Save draft often while fillingSource

  • SRN cancelled for late payment

Pay within the payment window shown after SRNSource

  • Turnover, contribution and partner details inconsistent

Reconcile accounts, Form 11 and partner records before filingSource

No. Rule 24(8) exempts LLPs whose turnover does not exceed ₹40 lakh or whose contribution does not exceed ₹25 lakh. Partners may still opt for audit.Source

Who can be the auditor?

Only a practising Chartered Accountant, appointed for each financial year.Source

Did the CCFS 2026 waiver cover LLP forms?

No. Sources say CCFS 2026 covered company forms only; LLP backlogs pay the full additional fee.Source
