Under Law No. 12 of 2024, employers must notify the Ministry of Labour of job vacancies.

What it means for you
Employers must notify MOL of job vacancies. Do this before applying to recruit expatriates, so you can show that priority candidates were considered. Keep the notice and any candidate responses.
What to do
- Draft the vacancy notice with role and pay.
- Submit it through MOL e-services.
- Review any Qatari candidates referred.
- Record the outcome before expatriate recruitment.
