Our Kuwait tax card says valid to 31 December. Do we renew every year?
The situation
Tax cards are issued annually and are valid until 31 December.
The law
- Income Tax Law Executive Bylaws: registration and tax card: Register and apply for a tax card within 30 days of starting activity or signing a contract; tax cards are annual and valid to 31 December
What it means for you
Renew before year end so payments in January are not held. Customers and government bodies often check the card. Keep filings current, since renewal can depend on compliance.
