Data tenaga kerja di LKPM harus sama dengan BPJS?
The situation
LKPM asks for numbers of Indonesian and foreign workers. These should match payroll and BPJS records.
The law
- Art 286, BKPM Regulation 5/2025: LKPM is filed quarterly by medium and large businesses by the 15th after each quarter and half yearly by small businesses; micro businesses are exempt
- Art 14 and 15, Law 24/2011 on BPJS: Every person, including a foreigner working at least 6 months in Indonesia, must join; employers must register their workers and pay contributions
What it means for you
Agencies compare data. Use headcount at period end and keep supporting lists. Example: 12 Indonesian staff and 1 expat at 30 June should match BPJS and the RPTKA list.
What to do
- Get headcount from payroll.
- Split local and foreign.
- Check BPJS lists.
- Enter in LKPM.
Foreign headcount should also match RPTKA records.
