Prepopulated data in Coretax is wrong

Data bukti potong di Coretax beda dengan slip gaji saya. Pakai yang mana?

The situation

Coretax pulls in slips filed by payers. If your employer filed wrong figures, the prepopulated data will be wrong too.

The law

  • PMK 81/2024 on tax provisions for implementing the Core Tax Administration System (Coretax): In force 1 January 2025; Coretax registration, returns, payment due dates aligned to the 15th of the following month, prepopulated returns and deposit balance
  • Art 21, Law 7/1983 on Income Tax (PPh Law), as last amended by Law 6/2023: Employers withhold tax on wages and other pay to resident individuals; the rate is 20 percent higher for payees without an NPWP

What it means for you

Ask your employer to correct the slip in Coretax. If the deadline is close, enter correct figures with evidence and keep the employer's corrected slip. Example: Coretax shows PPh 21 of IDR 4 million but your BPA1 shows IDR 5 million; the employer needs to correct its filing.

What to do

  1. Compare Coretax data with your slip.
  2. Ask the employer to correct it.
  3. Keep written proof.
  4. File with correct figures.

Ignoring mismatches can delay refunds and invite letters.
